Ernest and Amy Groser, 1920s
Ernest left the church and took up farming around 1920. After their marriage in 1922 he and Amy lived on a remote selection on the Warren River which he named "Maui" after his birthplace. In the 1930s he was rector "in a retired capacity" of a nearby timber town, Pemberton. This photo was probably taken at his sister Agnes's home, Wilgarrup.
