An unfinished history of the Coxe family

The chapters below were written in 2006 and 2007 before being interrupted by the necessity for the author to earn his living. Further intended chapters would have covered the American Coxe family (with perhaps a chapter on Tench Coxe) and the English Coxes, including the Rogers, Sharpe and Freeling families, among others. At present there is no prospect of completing the project.

Too-ticky's music

Too-ticky writes : "These tracks were created between 1998 and 2001 and a few of them were previously online in various locations under the title 'Trauma Trips for Hermits in Headphones'. They were inspired by the dance music of the 90s, but influenced also by much earlier musical genres - a younger DJ acquaintance thought them promising, but said there was too much 'lift music'. Some of the earlier tracks are primitive and embarrassing ; some of the later tracks are fully realised ; but as several of the primitive ones still get to me, it seemed best to put them all out there, come hell or high water. To hear them as they are intended to be heard, please wear headphones and play at maximum volume."


More music

After a long hiatus, I resumed temporarily with new software in 2017, and then again in 2023 with the same software and new hardware. As always, it is a learning process, but I hope to keep placing new tracks on here as I finish them.
